First things first we washed and thoroughly decontaminated the exterior surfaces, despite being a new car the paintwork was heavily contaminated, it is not uncommon for new cars to sit exposed to the weather for several weeks or even months before the first owner takes delivery, most car dealers will only give your vehicle a quick wash which is why it is beneficial to have your new car professionally detailed to ensure it is in the best possible condition from day one of your ownership.

Once we had completed the wash and decontamination stages, we found there were a few dull spots on the paintwork, all of the paintwork was given a light machine polish to lift the gloss with these areas receiving some additional polishing to restore the shine.
